Yikes! I completely forgotten about that. And we just had a Finnish sponsored lights exhibition here full of LED reindeers. I took part in the lucky draw for that. Maybe I'd get to visit some real-life ones! Merry Christmas too!

So Christmasy! Are you from Singapore? I have a technical question actually. Would u mind sharing how to reduce the tempo when loading registration data? I've been trying to do that so that my daughter can play some songs. Many thanks. :)

Hi! Thanks for your comment and yes, I'm from SG. As for reducing tempo, there are various methods 1) For newer registrations sold directly by Yamaha, all you need to do is to press the "Disabled" button, which is marked by a D and usually beside all the memory buttons. Once pressed, the tempo you have switched to will stay no matter what's programmed into the memories. Take note that Disabled sometimes messes with the rhythm and backing accompaniments. 2) Older registrations are played directly from the MDR as a song, sort of like a cassette player or VCR. In this case, there is a tempo reduction function within the MDR itself. You can play the song at 90 %, 80 %, etc. 3) An alternate way is to simply reprogramme all tempo settings within the memory buttons. Lower/increase as per need. Personally, I never do this as I don't like to mess around with the original rhythm settings. Hope this helps!
