Hey guys I just want to point out Auden did everything correct in the match. The reffing could’ve been tighter but please don’t blame Auden for that. Everyone gets away what they can get away with - why wouldn’t you? ALWAYS aim to get any advantage you can in the setup. I agree that shouldn’t happen in refs grip - but that’s on the refs, NOT Auden. As for people saying I was being “too nice”, I was calling everything out to the refs but they weren’t doing anything about it. Beyond that there’s not much I can do, these matches were all in refs grip.

that first round was the most obvious false start in the world. The Larratt strategy of just tiring out everyone on the table including the refs needs to stop being entertained. Screaming at the ref and disobeying calls should be an instant foul even if it means fouling out the entire match. People will learn eventually and the sooner the better cus these 30 minute matches with nothing but setups are incredibly boring. More importantly, there needs to be clear and well defined order of precedence on the various "rights" you have at the start because sometimes they are not all possible. Yes you're allowed center, yes you're allowed to put your elbow forward, but the other guy is also allowed even webbing. If you can't have all 3 at once which one takes precedence? (I'd say the webbing is pretty fucking important and not worth sacrificing just cus the other guy wants his elbow forward, the proof is that his elbow is going forward exclusively to get said webbing advantage)

There is no such thing as a fair grip. A fair grip for an inside puller is an unfair grip for an outside puller, fair grip for a posing toproll is unfair for a low hand toproll. Fair grip is the silliest concept in the sport that is why matches go to a refs grip which is not fair either.

Snoozefest. Just use WAL set grip at the beginning and go to strap in set grip after 30 seconds. Gets rid of all the bs and long setups.
@Average12124 ай бұрын
@@Dmgolfer22 OF the grips I also Like the WAL grip the best but it is in no way a fair grip. It also only works if you have refs that can control the pullers. The issue is European pullers have years in the sport and have never setup that way it puts them at a serious disadvantage. That is one of the main reasons EVW does not use it. EVW is literally a mash up of 4 rule sets, tying to bring all the major sport segments together.

When people talk about fairness in arm wrestling, they're not just discussing technical details like hand position or finger coverage. They're worried about things like false starts and blatant advantages, similar to allowing a football player to take a free kick from too closer to the goal than it was set and then valid it to be okay. Devon is seen as the face of arm wrestling, and at the highest level, there's a feeling that he and others get away with bending the rules. This undermines the sport's integrity. As Devon himself emphasizes, the setup is crucial in arm wrestling. Letting any athlete, regardless of their fame, cheat during the setup or in any other way ruins fair competition. It changes the sport from a test of skill and ability into a mere spectacle of who can cheat more.

Because they have a super long arm, You can add airakli, and vitally to your list as well. In the current ruleset where you can't force the pullers elbow back on the pad the longer armed puller always has an advantage. A set grip like in WAF is even worse as both pullers are forced to the back of the pad in a set grip and the shorter armed puller is royally &*#&ed
