Hey guys I just want to point out Auden did everything correct in the match. The reffing could’ve been tighter but please don’t blame Auden for that. Everyone gets away what they can get away with - why wouldn’t you? ALWAYS aim to get any advantage you can in the setup. I agree that shouldn’t happen in refs grip - but that’s on the refs, NOT Auden. As for people saying I was being “too nice”, I was calling everything out to the refs but they weren’t doing anything about it. Beyond that there’s not much I can do, these matches were all in refs grip.

Were not blaming auden for the set up, thats the referees job i agree and the refs did a terrible job. We just dont like audens antics like pulling your arm after the match is over or loading before the go. Also his trash talking is just uncalled for.

@@Charisma432 I get it bro, but he pulled my arm after I rage screamed in his face so it was warranted 🤣 and the trash talk sells ppv’s and builds hype. that first round was the most obvious false start in the world. The Larratt strategy of just tiring out everyone on the table including the refs needs to stop being entertained. Screaming at the ref and disobeying calls should be an instant foul even if it means fouling out the entire match. People will learn eventually and the sooner the better cus these 30 minute matches with nothing but setups are incredibly boring. More importantly, there needs to be clear and well defined order of precedence on the various "rights" you have at the start because sometimes they are not all possible. Yes you're allowed center, yes you're allowed to put your elbow forward, but the other guy is also allowed even webbing. If you can't have all 3 at once which one takes precedence? (I'd say the webbing is pretty fucking important and not worth sacrificing just cus the other guy wants his elbow forward, the proof is that his elbow is going forward exclusively to get said webbing advantage)

I didn't realize how unfair this was, James is definitely stronger than Auden. James lack of experience in the set up and dealing with the Refs, he didn't complain enough. Not saying this is the case for all, but with age comes knowledge, wisdom and understanding. I know some guys my age and older that still think they're in their early 20's. Sometimes I wish there was a "no talking during grip" rule. Too many guys try to manipulate the refs to gain an advantage before the start. There needs to be more respect for the officials, and/or the officials need to be more strict. We also need more qualified refs. I know some people will say that trying to get an advantage in the grip an essential part of the sport, but I'd personally prefer to see the fairest grips and fairest starts possible so that both althletes are on a level playing field when the ref says go.

@@Dmgolfer22 OF the grips I also Like the WAL grip the best but it is in no way a fair grip. It also only works if you have refs that can control the pullers. The issue is European pullers have years in the sport and have never setup that way it puts them at a serious disadvantage. That is one of the main reasons EVW does not use it. EVW is literally a mash up of 4 rule sets, tying to bring all the major sport segments together.

When people talk about fairness in arm wrestling, they're not just discussing technical details like hand position or finger coverage. They're worried about things like false starts and blatant advantages, similar to allowing a football player to take a free kick from too closer to the goal than it was set and then valid it to be okay. Devon is seen as the face of arm wrestling, and at the highest level, there's a feeling that he and others get away with bending the rules. This undermines the sport's integrity. As Devon himself emphasizes, the setup is crucial in arm wrestling. Letting any athlete, regardless of their fame, cheat during the setup or in any other way ruins fair competition. It changes the sport from a test of skill and ability into a mere spectacle of who can cheat more.

Everyone complaining about the fact that Auden is better at armwrestling and therefore won... If James won would there be any mention of his obvious "advantages"? I'd say James' supplements should be more than enough to handle the 19 year olds superior armwrestling, but that wasn't the case. The better armwrestler won. James gained a lot of experience.

Auden is almost certainly the better armwrestler and he would have shown that without a lot of the antics or false starting,

cheating is not being the better armwreslter. Otherwise next time ill just kick my opponent in the legs, since it is just being a better armwrestler

@@cwolf208 Do you watch armwrestling much? everyone false starts, that's the refs job to foul not his job. Find me a match on this card or pretty much any card that doesn't have a false start.

I love how Auden is Just Like his Mom & Dad... The voice, the antics, the cadences, the mannerisms... definitely mini devon lol

Auden for sure got some help from the refs in round 1 and 2. That match was a lot closer than the score said.

What's everyone complaining about? This was a good competitive match. All the negotiating is a part of it.

Yeah really competitive when you're almost half way down before the ref says go 😂
