Audi 2.7T Timing Belt Replacement | Audi B6 A4 2.7T Swap |

Pretty sure that stud on the tentioner pulley goes on the inside. There's only 1 space it can go and it rocks back and forth about 1/8th of a turn. Edit. I went back to the beginning and the original shows how it should be installed.

There is an Easier way instead of fighting with that timing belt but if its your first time doing this you got a lot to learn my friend

Having a tool, you set the ignition incorrectly! You need to release the gears so that they spin, and then release the roller for tension. Then the tension on the belt will be uniform everywhere!

Correct. Former Audi master tech here. He DID NOT do this correctly. Cam gears/sprockets need to be loosened and broke free from camshafts or timing will not be correct.

after a month of doing timing belt replacement my marks are off and crankshaft are no longer horizontal, what can I do?

One thing your lacking is the torque specs

Former Audi master tech here. This was not performed correctly. Cam gears/sprockets need to be loosened and broke free from camshafts or timing will not be correct.

Was the tentioner on inside out? I think the stud goes on the inside.
