Thank you for the video. Very easy for a non-mechanic to understand. My Audi A2 had a dead battery so we replaced it. At the same time the power windows/locks/hatchback stopped working. We figured it was the CCU. Found one online and went to install it. The original CCU only has 3 connections. Meantime the battery died again. Charged it and installed the new CCU with only 3 connections, power windows etc. still don't work. Any ideas?

I would start with diagnostics check. That should give you better insight into the problem.

It will lock itself automatically only if you unlock the car and do not open the doors. If you turn off the engine and go out and the car locks itself that is not by spec. You have a problem.

Prvo provjeri sve što je ugradeno neoriginal. A inače provjeri malo na www.a2oc.net, možda je več neko imao iste probleme.

Our car came with the CCU removed and we don't know the correct number for this specific model (2003). Do you know how to find this out? 10x

Check this link: wiki.a2-freun.de/wiki/index.php?title=Komfortsteuerger%C3%A4t&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop BEFORE buying the CCU unit, check the part nr. of your remote controllers (if the car has remote control), because you need to buy the CCU with CORRECT FREQUENCY or you will need to replace also the keys.
