In this video I replace a noisy and worn O/S/F (front right) wheel bearing unit on my 2010 Audi A3 8P 1.6TDI Sportback. I also replace the centre hub bolt and bearing mounting bolts.
As the front brake pads and discs (rotors) were heavily worn, these were replaced at the same time. I had set out to bleed the brakes/change the brake fluid but during this work I identified a corroded ferrule on a brake flexi hose, so this will be completed in another video once I have replaced the hose.
I also resolved a number plate (license plate) lamp issue, where one was dim and causing a bulb warning to show on the dashboard. This was traced to a poor connection causing high resistance.
Parts used:
Wheel bearing - Febi Bilstein
Bolts - Audi dealership
Brake Pads and discs - Febi Bilstein
Bulbs - Napa
