We got asked to do a quick low down of the latest Radio MMI system off the back of our previous system reviews.
We quickly walkthrough some of the functions of the latest Media System fitted to a brand new 2018 UK Audi S3 8V. This system features Full Navigation, Digital and FM Radio along with Bluetooth Handsfree & A2DP. Includes extras such as AMI, USB, Audi Connect, Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

Hi, I'm trying to use my sat nav but the owner says I need to get a sd card.....what sd card would i use and would this then allow me to use the satnav at no other cost?

Are you tied to Apple maps when using CarPlay? Can you use google maps or even the Audi Nav whilst using CarPlay?

Phil de Scossa currently  CarPlay only supports their own  maps but with recently announced iOS 12 3rd party navigation (google maps, waze, etc) will be available

Don't know if this helps. But my wife's iPhone only seems to let her use Apple maps. We can't seem to overrule it with google, unless I connect my android to the car. And if connected to car play we can overrule it with the audio nav. If that makes sense.

Diogo Ramos there is a way. The car needs to be updated. It’s not just firmware though. I was quoted £1700 to get this done on my 2014. I’ve got the tech pack etc too and it’s still the above price.

Do you know whether or not you can get videos to work at all in this car. I have a 2017 s3 navigation pack exactly the same as this and I can’t get any type of video to work

Depends on the MMI System you have. Remember though that most systems will lock playback down when you go over a certain speed.

When doing a review of the infocenter, setup up a phone and plug some usb media then you can ACTUALLY show what the system can do

I expect as long as your Note 9 can offer Android Auto then yes it would work, never tested it though.
