Audi A3/S3/RS3 Mirror Cap Removal & Carbon Mirror Cap Install!

Today we go over the process of removing an Audi S3's mirror caps without breaking any tabs or clips. We also install some very nice quality carbon fiber mirror caps from German Auto Accessories (link below). Such a simple aesthetic mod for your car can go such a long way! @@DArias mine looked like it had to facing down and mirrors pulled from the top. Also my caps had a single screw that had to be removed before it would fully release. Just tackled it about an hr ago qas pretty quick. Carbon fiver caps look so much better over the stock silver ones.

@@DArias if u have the German accessories ones how was the fitment? I got those same ones and thw fitment to me wasn't perfect. The oem ones sat super flush zero gaps ir overlapping. These ones seemed to over lap in certain areas and tiny gaps here and there. Didn't seem to be any gaps tho where it looks like there could be a leak. Looks sealed off.

Thanks man! I’m gonna be honest not 100% sure. I’m almost positive it would be the same process but you may run into a few more wires but the process to remove the glass and etc should be the same

Yo hows the fitment with these? Been thinking about getting a set but have heard stories of them not fitting perfect.

Personally my came perfect fitment was on point no issue with the blind spot sensors etc. i have too heard that some people have some fitment issues as well. The few people who have purchased them that I know haven’t had any problems either so it could be hit or miss. My experience with these were good but I don’t wanna vouch and say 100% lol it’s a risk I guess but have also heard they are good with customer service with returning or exchanging when a problem persists
