Audi A4 3.0TDI BSR 420hp / 890nm - Top speed run

This is footage from a customer of mine who does Vmax, track days etc
This was done on a runway which has been shortened from last year (176mph last time he managed with less power)
Looking at the rate of acceleration at top end I would say it would carry on further without issue.
Special note on the mileage on this car approaching 200k
*At 130mph he had a quick look at the egt's before going for it again.

This is testament to Bobby's excellent work. I've seen 176mph on previous runs. It was the last run of the day and I realised I hadn't got any footage, but I forgot to change the display, hence the easing off as I went into 6th. Still not bad for a standing start to a mile. It was still pulling hard, but I had passed the braking marker, so had to brake so as not to go through the straw bales. It goes alright for a 200k motor! Well done on your work Bobby.

After 60 mph this car is still pulling like a train. The clutch seems to be taking it just fine as well. Is this a stock item? I need to get a turbo upgrade soon...

Yes - i had over 500hp on stock exhaust with just 76mm downpipe

boost limited till 6th? seems there is no aero drag. it pulls the same from 0 to 160mph almost like a dyno pull.

@@GGXjimmy it does pull really hard at high speed. This wasn't a drag race, I wasn't trying for good 0-60 or anything, just for top speed, but the runway isn't long enough to max it out.

The oil was hot. It had done runs previously. It had been sat idling with the fans on to keep everything warm, the coolant temp had dropped a bit.

Well, my 3.0TDI CDUC if was hot and coolant temperature dropped to about 70*C then oil temperature was about 60-70*C. Just saying from my experience ;)
