Here is a quick and simple demonstration on how to replace the dead / weak 2032 battery in your Audi key fob. This process does not require any tools but you will need a new 2032 battery. First step is to remove the mechanical key. Then you can either use your finger to slid out the tray or you can use your key to assist in removing the tray. Once you have your tray out, put the new battery in and place the tray back into place. That is all you need to do! You do not need to reprogram. Hope you found this video helpful!

it lets me lock it but when i press unlock, it sounds like i locked it but i end up taking the manual key and unlocking it
