I wouldn't have let my 2001 Audi A4 go this past spring if it had more than 4 inch ground clearance. I lost the lower body piece that attaches below the front bumper...That is. I lost it no less than 3x within the year and half that I owed it. The last time it was recovered by accident, about 2 months after it went missing. It had been ran over, at least once, but it still fit right back on- better than before. With pot holes as they are, the cost of fluids it was costing, I had to choose between the Audi and my 2001 Honda Cr-V...I went with good ground clearance and generally cheaper maintenance over the luxury of the Audi. So frustrating, but understand I don't need the speed near as much as I need to avoid that rock in the road or get out of the driveway.

АУДИ ГАВНЕР! :) обслуживание дорогое,а комфорта меньше чем в той же Хонде с хорошей комплектацией. Так на Хонду АКПП - 8 тыс.руб. стоит, и фильтры по 150 рублей, да и КПД выше- общепризнанный факт! (Хонда признанный лидер по выжиманию лош.сил. с наименьшим сжиганием бенза и без всякиз хрупких турбин. VTEC-простое механическое изобретение-не переплюнутое до сих пор ни кем, ну Тойота правда, передрала как могла-Twin Cam, так Тойоты собирают где попало-кривые зазоры по кругу, а Хонды и Субару=исключительно в Японии). П.С.Товарищ купил Ниссан Хтрайл-так там капот криво прикручен! Обнаружил дома, когда стал искать сверчки по кузову и салону-перекрутить самому нельзя-гарантии не будет.Салон за 120 км...Кто делает такое гавно?-Ленинградский завод Тойота...

думаю элроад делали все же для заснеженных не посыпанных европейских дорог в горах, одновременно оставляя его центр тяжести для управляемости и комфорта на автобанах. Так глупо заезжать на нем в какие то горки из сплошной глины.

I miss the Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ. :-) Besides that being born in Audi and VW Land I do agree performance of the Audis is very impressive. But all the drivers are very experience and skilled and for me personally is also impressive if a Tundra UAZ with ? 80 hp climbs the hill without problem or the Lada 4x4 ( I wonder whether this is the 84 hp stock engine) and also the Patriot. Fact is: All climbs proove that one tire set of Grabbers or mudders is definitely helpful under this conditions!

Поставил хакку грин 225. 45 .18 стояли конти спорт. Стало немного но лучше. По сырой траве и глине. Машина ниссан жук турбо 4 вд. На континетале только по асфальту

with some Grabbber or General tires even with 205 width can be enough, sure Russia has comparable rubbers. With those on the Patriot, the SsangYong and the Kia would have climbed the hill like the Tundra. Jay Leno says: Performance sells! But torque wins! So bring the torque against the hill do not let the mud ruin your grip or just use steel rails like for tanks and many of the cars would make it easily.

ребят, рекомендую для Ауди резину Hankook или Falken, берите протектор обезательно ёлочную с множествеными прорезями, на личном опыте, Ауди А4, 18Т передний привод, зимнюю горку под 45градусов поднемал легко поднимал. Ёлочный протектор и на трасе в дождь хошо работает, до 180 никакого аква плонирования и по бездорожью отлично цепляеться плюс резина безшумная почти на трассе. А ГЛАВНОЕ!!! ни за что не ставьте другой ширины резину, больше или меньше не важно, так как производитель изначально правельно расшитал нужное давление на квадратный сентиметр, чтоб и цепляла но чтоб и не закапывалась в грунт,
