Thank you, this is the second video I've seen of yours, both helped me perfectly. I didn't even have to finish watching this whole video. Installed my hood strut less than a minute including propping the hood it with the swift mop.

@@willworthoberg6818 I mainly posted that comment for any later viewers that come along. My Audi is an S4, and I ordered a new strut, but they sent me an A3 strut, which is way too short. I used your video just to check I was correct. Cheers from Australia.

the spring clip does not have to be removed like that, you pry them up just far enough so they cam be removed from the ball stud. to install you just push them on ,spring clip does hot have to be raise up.

The Meta clip should NOT be pulled out. Instead, you supposed to pull it Out a little and then it up along the slots on each site.
