AUDI A4 TDI 2.0 2007 | EGR DELETE | SG

This is a friends car that had no power then it did .under load it would smoke heavy then would not smoke .take a look at how we found the problem then fixed the problem the way we did .these engine seam to have the same problems across the board ,low fuel pump ,high pump and injectors

Good man u did the right thing parking it up. As if that door had went in the intake. Holy hell it would be full rebuild or new motor. Hows it running now u should have a bit more power as the egr isnt choking it

@@smithysgarage-sg8658hi, I have some problems with my engine. It doesn't rev properly from around 2 0000 RPM it's choking and shake. The DPF filter it's empty and I just changed the EGR valve but the issue still persists, many thanks!😊

Its the best thing for the car. These engines are so anchored down with emissions crap. That it becomes unrealistic to have them on. And thats best of the man hours and part replacement on them.

@@smithysgarage-sg8658 Can you help me? My EGR valve also broke like 2 weeks ago, same issue as in your case, I tried blanking but it keeps poping Check Engine with fault code EGR - Pressure too low. + it's kinda low on power sometimes

where are u based .we had to delete egr coding ,but we have a mapper that comes to the garage for work .i did do it at one point but sold software plus cheaper to have him in most of the time

Will that cause check engine light to come up, if yes how to remove check engine light. I have blanking plates, but dont know if check engine will come up

Check engine light will come on. We had to get car remapped to sort. The car still has its dpf and passes emittions tests as car is good health. I now own the vehicle as our friend has some family commitments and we needed to buy it to help him get a focus st . Without that car we would of all ended up in a dark place. The garage has helped us all. In one way or another

⁠@@smithysgarage-sg8658Hi bud,I had my egr cooler pipe snap off at the flange on the manifold the other day ,common issue on these engines apparently mines the dreaded BLB. So I blanked it off from the manifold where it snapped and the turbo whooshing noise sounds like a petrol turbo with a dump valve when you ease off which then made it go into limp mode. Quick flick of the key on and off sorted. But surely that noise will knacker the turbo in the long run. Or do I remove the cooler and egr valve and code it out. Ebay blank off kit install.?

Hi ! but it can destroy the particle filter? it can also regenerate its particulate filter automatically ?

To a point. As we have had issues with dpf filters even though we have serviced and regeneration via computer. About 60 in every 100 squares in the filter are blocked when we have opened them up to look at it.. But yes u are right about them autoregen. But if its blocked passed the point of pressure readings the car will dump tons of fuel from injector with very little of clearing the dpf.

We are going to change turbos again and upping the power to hopefully 1600bhp. We are just sorting cooling at the mo as its a issue. We are in two mind weather to sleave the deck. But my mates still running normal block barring forge pistons and rods. But according to audis chief engineer of that time. They pushed 2200bhp on std block when testing what the motor could handle. But that was in testing and not long term running the power.

Yer are going to push it. There would be more really big bhp rs6 s in the uk. But people start to really worry at these levels. Where we are at the point of screw it, it goes bang its goes bang. The Americans are having good results with the lambo v10 and r8s all, running over 1800bhp. At the beginning of nexted year im hoing to call, out other youtubers for drag races to see how it does against them.but,at the same time ill have my r5 turbo finished. So next year should be a blast

We would of got a message. Car had a safe eco map. So emissions ended up the same as before. Car ran bad with egr. Carbon build up made car run bad

Yes we have had a couple. Mainly with boost problems and choking up which flags engine light. We end up getting the egr deleted via coding
