BMW interior quality is way better than Audi and VW these days in my opinion, due to the large dieselgate fines VAG Group had to cut costs to keep afloat.

Agreed. But the Audi interior quality is still better than Mercedes’. BMW has definitely improved with their most recent generations👌. My dad had a 2020 gls for a short term lease while he was waiting for his car to be delivered, and the interior in that was shocking. The trackpad is annoying to use and the centre console used to shake and creak and the seats in the ‘flagship’ Mercedes’ suv reminded me of the seats in the old shape 1 series…

The interior in the latest w206 C class is really good, design and quality. I think Audi has a hard challenge ahead

@@DownShiftThrottle new c class has a beautiful interior. Probably more suited to the c than the new s, but I’ve been in the new c200 and the new i4 20, and the i4 does seem a bit more futuristic and special but then I suppose the standard 4 series interior won’t feel as future proof as the c

When you sat in BMW 1 series you have sat in 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 series as BMW fallows copy, enlarge and paste principle with their cars...

It sounds like the only pros you are given this car is the suspension, most likely because your A7 is S-line 😂 Btw - I have the 40tfsi S-line and I wish I opted for the sportback sport model

Accurate review overall. In my view since i have tried quite a few A5s, 2020 reg onwards, the main disapponting areas are all the silver colour plastics (look way too cheap) as well as the unknown reason they got a touch screen on the facelift model and removed the cicular module. Safety wise absolute doesn't make sense, but in my view this is too bad. The 5door sportback feels better to drive. Thanks for the review.
