@lx blb the 4G generation of Audi's A6 is almost 10 years old. In my opinion it has withstood the test of time better than the BMW F10 (5 series) generation and Mercedes W211 (E-class) generation. It was just my personal impression, so I don't know what makes you think that I have no idea about cars. Tastes are different..

I love the dashboard display on this generation A6 with large, clear analog dials. I wish all manufacturers would return to round or oval analog dials instead of the video game displays that are appearing on many new models recently. Acceleration to 200 kmh on this A6 would suit just about anyone's daily needs in my opinion - swift, effortless and refined.

Audi8 Yes, S-tronic/DSG transmission was mounted to 204, 245 and 272 HP 3.0 TDI engines. That combination was unreliable because of too much torque. 3.0 BiTDI competition is paired with classic torque converter 8 speed ZF gearbox and it is reliable.

I wrote a comment on a earlier video of this Audi. To date I own the exact same car (in black) for over a month now. I can say that this is by far the best quality family Diesel car for around 38k€. The only downside is the insurance category which is almost the highest, about 1500k€/year for fully insured. The costs for gas is ridiculous low- in comfort you will reach about 820km and if the streets are empty go in sport mode and feel that 650 pot and 346!hp :-) like the vid!

Breadman233 1 326hp is correct but in Sport mode you have round about 20hp more. You can find that info on several website e. g. Wikipedia

@@Datoda yo.. the timing really is incredible - have had a 2008 A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI 171kW for 5 years - and have been willing to upgrade to F11 530D manual for half a year - however, this 230kW audi CGQB engine convinced me, checked out two cars this week - definitely a step above BMW in design - both inside and out. Also - the bimmer needs three turbos, audi has enough with 2 similarly sized and gets 650Nm - with the most reliable AWD system

@@JurisKankalis Honestly the M550d is totally unnecessary, the car doesnt need three turbos. The 535d with two turbos is more than enough, we also have a 435d with that exact engine and it's quite a good amount of power. Personally I dont like Audis interior, which was also one of the main reasons to not get an A6. Exterior is great, especially the facelift C7, looks very nice and didnt really age that much. In the end the M550d was just the perfect package, three turbos with the same reliable N57 we already have in our convertible and a very nice extended Dakota Oyster leather interior to top it off.

Because people tend to associate diesels with bad performance, "eWw iT iS sO sLoW!!1". But once you take said people for a joyride "man this car is fast af". I've gotten the best reactions when launching the car.

....it uses pumped-in sound - and the exhaust pipes have special chambers at the ends for sound purposes. All that can be turned off - diesel is never there for sound, mosly power/torque with low fuel consumption

Few months ago I was standing by a traffic light with my C250 CDI next to a A6 competition I didn't know that it was a competition I've checked his license plate afterwards because when the lights went to green I was flooring my 250 CDI and the man in his A6 also and I won! So I was shocked that it so slow! I already had this against a A8 with a 3.0 V6 TDI 250bhp maybe it's the weight but my biturbo 4 cylinder is much faster! And I only have rear wheel drive!
