I just bought a '21 Audi A8L V8. I found it leagues above the competition. The S is luxurious, absolutely. However, the Audi is fierce in its look, while being humble. The S shoved a screen in my face, sides, whole body whereas this was elegant. I have the ambience of the interior lighting, a wireless control pad for passengers to turn on their massages and put the blinds up/down. It's true luxury. I drive it as a daily, just myself. The rear is just the immense bonus that impresses literally everyone that has ever rode with me. I can press it in dynamic, and have V8 power for 4.2 0-60's.

I like how they made the front look more angular and aggressive now. I always thought that the pre-facelift model looked a little too rounded in the front. It looks great now.

They should do what modern phones are doing.. less bezel more screen with the camera as a punch-hole in the screen: make the headlights tiny punch-holes in the grill and make the grill fill the entire front end of the car. Only grill, no bumper 😂

Cars should serve you, not the other way around. Car needs to respect you, the owner, and offer you practicality, quality and comfort generally speaking. He never really throws components out the vehicle other than tha trunk cover which is fun and nothing happens to them, they are made to be detachable / removable afterall.

The person who designed this presentation room must be locked in it for around two weeks. It does not really help to see the car in its fullest....at least on camera. I'm a big fun of A8 among top limos, but One BIG criticism around engine line up with facelift! Why no 55TDI engine (stronger than 286KM) which is used in A6 range or Q5 series ? While S Class or BMW 7 has similar engine. Its a pity...as there is a gap for EU customers :-/

Let me tell you a secret. Not a single person that liked my comment believes that those are A4 headlights, it's just a joke, a bit of sarcasm for the designer that got a paycheck for doing NOTHING but copying some existing lines from another Audi car.

The people behind touch interfaces should be forced to go out and use the cars in -30C. Of course with a lot of settings "wrong". And no pre-heater set. Followed by a long drive without being allowed to stop for changing of clothes!

I very much enjoyed the presentation. This car is definitely worthy of consideration for anyone looking for the highest standards in automotive quality. Personally, though, I can do without all the _spa_ functions and most the onboard entertainment ones as well. No car of mine will ever need to be more than just that: a good car.

Why there's always someone trying to blame China for all the recent bad german designs? Take a look at some 90s Rolls Royce, lots of chrome, and the same nowadays. The best selling BMW in China is series 5, and Audi is A6: small grill, little chrome, not SUV.

It’s better to give a8’s interior something different from the a6 and a7. I mean it’s meant to be the top of their brand. I Believe in giving it something different from the rest for the price point. Everything else is good except the interior, which again is good but not different.

This is a very nice car. It really is. No one can ever take away the prestige and quality the A8 is known for. HOWEVER It is time for a revamp. Audi needs new design language. This shit looks the same every gen. The Q4 e-Tron and Sportback are very good first steps. I hope their designs move more in that direction, then evolve from there.

I have a tip/request for you: could you tell us how, and if you can look freely out of the front window, underneath the rear view mirror(!) without bending your head …? This is actually very important for tall drivers. This, hight of the rear view mirror, is mich more important than the distance from the top of our heads to the roof distance, for tall people. It’s also a important safety box to tick off. The rear view mirror is a dangerous blind spot creator for us, tall ones. Tall people are not really an thought when manufacturers are making their cars, is my experience. We have a lot to win here. Thank you Thomas, keep up the great AUTOGEFÜHL my friend! I guess it's the same we've seen before. Real shame again on the leather, it really pollutes the environment during production too. The business style tables as on high speed rail or airliners is actually a good feature I hope to see again, but I think the most people who'd use it would be buying the A4 or A6 :)

The new A8 was on sale since 2018 model year in 2017 in Germany every 3-4 model years they update the car so in 2024 as 2025 a new A8 come out if search grand sphere concept it base off A8 they step their game big time.
