I have a 150hp S line 8l model with all extras included.The 1.8t engine is butter smooth.The car is on 283k kilometres and is still reliable and relatively fast compared to modern cars.It’s a pleasure to drive and it’s actually in the car retro club already!Great release from Audi really.They don’t make that reliable and robust cars anymore tho😕

Looking at this its kinda funny to note that apart from the huge front grill on the new car, the overall design of the A3 has barely changed in 24 years. Mind you thats true of quite a few VAG models.

I ve got the last series of that car with 300.000km and the only big problem was appear now by ABS pomp. I will try all my best for let it with me more years but I know... about 2 years and I will switch on new A3 (hope the 4 series be largest of 8V).

Can someone help me? I have the same cluster and I don't have a check engine light. I've seen some videos of other clusters and I don't see a check engine light either. Didn't see one in this video too. Can someone please tell me where it is?

Check engine light came with facelift version 2000-2003 and only on VDO gauges
