Audi B7 S4 Resonator/Muffler delete

Muffler delete and resonator delete on my B7 S4. Big thanks to penn muffler for getting it done!

Sounds awesome. What size piping did you go with, or did you just replace the resonator & muffler piping?

John Davis just got the mufflers and resonators cut out, same size piping an went with 3.5in tips. Thank you also!

So I ended up going with a magna flow h pipe to quiet it down a little bit once i went Xspower downpipes

2 years later I am here to comment that I am doing this with my Jag that shares the same engine. Rn I just have the rear mufflers taken off, still have another set up front and the resonators to delete

How much HP? and what's the exhaust brand model?

I had stock HP with just doing these deletes, didn’t get the gain in HP till I got jackal motor sports tune. The exhaust that’s on my car is just a straight pipe with a magna flow xpipe

@@s4james89 the mag X pipe .. is that just a box standard X pipe or a 11385 please ….. did the X pipe replace the oem H pipe or did you have both the H and X pipe fitted please. Hows the in-car drone noise with no resonator please ? I ask these as i have a S4 b6 cabriolet and has a 2.25” stainless exhaust when i got it and it was soooo quiet so did a muffler delete and its still quite which is odd when comparing it against same model with muffler delete .. next is resonator delete or valves fitted 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ Thanks for any suggestions

@@Mrkc47 so this is when I got a resonator and muffler delete. The next videos after is with Magnaflow 11385 xpipe 2.25” Xspower downpipes 3” tips The inside drone noise isn’t that bad. It’s a tad loud but not unbearable.

I would not have deleted the res, Fuck that FUCKING DRONE!! lol but really its always under the foot boards and its always fine at first and annoying AF soon after

I didnt mind it at all, when i got rid of the mid muffler thats when it sounded like a cammed corvette and i couldnt take the noise lmao
