Looks like it cleaned up real good for you. I always use a small amount (quarter size dab and go from there) of Mineral Spirits to take dried pine sap off of paint without hurting the clear coat. Small amount goes a long way but that degreaser seemed to work well.

Got a datona grey with black ops B8, Also want the black badges. The black opts on that red looks so good, nice work.

Love the Daytona grey also, great color. I did this red because it seemed a little more rare. I have other mods on the way so stay tuned

Thanks, Shelley. I too looked around for the best badges to get when I started this. Most of the ones I got from eBay were actually Audi badges so that was a welcome surprise

I also got the black optic package on my sq5 but none of the emblems were actually black 😑

Yep. Kind of annoying honestly. But gives us reasons to mod our cars 😁

GoGone eats thrrough your clearcoat. I used it 10 years ago when construction vehicle that sprays tar passed by me on the highway and sprayed all over my car. I had dark specs all over vehicle where i used gogone because it ate through coating.

How does this emblem hold up after a few months compared to OEM?

So far so good. I do think the rear badge is an actual Audi badge and not some knockoff. It has been washed numerous times and been through a bunch of different weather conditions.
