Your new ones are OEM style. I will have to check them out. My manual S6 has Oriellys ones and they have to be replaced every 12-18 months. Then cleaning the grease off the wheels...🙄 I also need to go get a longer bar for torturing the axle nut. 150nm + 180 degrees sucks without enough leverage.

Before I do the 180, I put a paint mark on the bolt and hub so I can see it.

As it turns out, I had to get my old axles rebuilt as PDL/world pac has these axles all messed up and this one ended up being to short & coming apart in the garage 🤦🏽‍♂️ did find the correct axles, tbd if I install them or just stay on these rebuilds .. def need a breaker bar solution for the 180 turn, make sure to use new axle bolts of course or one of those turn could be it’s last 🪦

That's good to know. Will not go with them. The Oriellys ones split after about 3 or 4 months. I am sure there's on grease actually in them anymore.

@pkt1213 you just have to vet the right lengths for the PDL, world pac falsely list them as working for manual A6. They’re are some decent aftermarket replacement boots that can put on your current axles, I hear they hold up pretty well. I’ll report back with other axles I found that work , I forgot who makes them
