What would you recommend for carbon build up prevention? So far what I know of is premium fuel, high revs, and changing oil regularly

Yes that helps but unfortunately it’s not preventable, and cleaning is a regular maintenance. Do to the design of the engine, in the old day they dumped the blow by , which Is unburnd fuel and oily hat made it past the pistons to the atmosphere, but do to regulations and emissions, they directed back into the engine a second time they the intake manifold, which causes build up the permanent solution and fix is in this video here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaGyqJyBiamXo80

Yo Bruce, I see B8’s getting piston and valves replaced due to oil consumption. Is it preventable? Does carbon cleaning eliminate or slow that damage? I just replaced my timing chain so that’s one less worry lol

Yes it takes one torque screw, if it’s black and covered in carbon you won’t get a proper reading, takes 5 minutes

Hey bro im going through something weird wonder if u can help, so i went to replace my injectors to the s3 ones, i have them in but now im getting random misfires, epc lights and cel lights, what would that be do to ive already checked every connector there is, and ive took it apart twice to check for gaps

what stage tune are you running, and are they specific misfires, and who put them in if so, did the put the injectors in the intake manifold before they installed, it ot put the injectors in the block, and then the intake manifold, let me know
