Audi MMI Plus Touch Response Detailed Overview

If you have used the new MMI Plus system with Touch Response and the old MMI Plus system, which one do you like better? I know it's another one of those controversial Audi topics since they have had the jog wheel for so long. Just wondering what you guys think.

Touch screen is ok for those who like it, for me it's the scroll wheel. I can't stand fingerprints on the screen, looks like trash when the screen is off. Touch screen is not what I would say safe and great to use while driving. Best thing Audi could have done was to use the touch screen and keep the scroll wheel. Don't understand why they removed it, seems like it was a easy way out for them.

Yeah the fingerprints are going to be a major problem on a screen that large. You don’t find it frustrating trying to move the map around with the jog wheel?

@@TheCenterLineAuto not at all, I have the touchpad on the wheel. It's very simple and easy to use while driving.

Touch screen is near necessity for apple CarPlay/android auto, but I’ve loved the set ups in my ‘09 A4 and ‘17 S3 for the native systems

Completely agree. With my S3 I was using CarPlay 95% of the time. I don’t think the MMI system was that great when it came to interacting with CarPlay. Much easier/intuitive with a touch screen

Have the rsq3 display is the same but can’t reset the MMI HELP!! Apple CarPlay dose not work unless it’s connected by cable
