April 3, 2022. Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I have a 2009 Q5. I followed your helpful instructions to replace the door lock actuator, and successfully replaced it. The most tricky part was getting around the window slide.

Of note, the "T40 star key" or T40 TORX rounded off both my screws :( I ended up using a Hex key that fits and that worked. A spline key is what is meant to be used.

hi, there's only one actuator in each door. the door that doesn't lock/unlock is the dead one.
