Dont know exactly why, but something’s “strange” in the BACK. Not as attractive. Maybe they should have done something more like Q8 back style, dont know.

Wow, except the front, the car is quiet ugly. The back is a lot like shooting brake, e.g. Arteon, and the sportback roofline is also off. The lights are awsome though!

It almost looks good in that grey and the orange. But yes, something is off in back the styling is less styling and more humping. Just imagine if they made it as beautiful as the A7 sloping rear...anyway the real Q5 is much better looking design. Really needs more trunk space and some standard equipment upgrades to be the class winner. (Heated rear seats and steering wheel should be standard on Premium Plus)

Hi, can anyone tell me what the yellow warning bar on the dash display is for that comes on between the 20:26 and 20:50 mark on the video? It seemed to come on and go off when passing between some traffic lights.

I'm a bit shallow, so I like this form better than the regular one. It's between this and the X4 as my next car and, although I'm a bit of a BMW fan boy, I just can't come to terms with the looks of the X4. Here's to the SQ5 with the 3 liter diesel engine in 1-2 years or so! :-)

Get an Allroad instead. Just as much room but handles and looks better. Same basic platform and I've driven both, and own a 2017 Allroad, and while the Q5 is nice, the Allroad is much better.

sq5 diesel with proper quattro and air suspension is the way to go. All you need. Just put some aftermarket exhaust cause it actually sounds pretty good for a diesel then.

Did the audi q5 also get the mib3 platform on infotainment? If so there's lots to say at least on the Skoda variant of the mib 3 infotainment...Just the fact that it can decide to be dead silent whatever you do all of the sudden is an exiting feature...Only thing you can do is to shutdown the car and let it rest for an hour or two..Or when you are on the wireless Apple CarPlay..try to play some song on Spotify and then go to some other menus while playing..like change the ambient lighting or change to some more bass in the sound..that will hang the spotify apple CarPlay graphics in an instant and guess what..you need to reboot the system to get it back again..until next time..And more...Anyway Q5 is a nice car so I hope it got some other infotainment system..

@@autogefuehl I totally understand that..My experience with MIB3 on my new Skoda 2021 is really not good. Its slow as..And as stated sometimes it gets mute..no sound and no way of solving uit without closing down the car and wait for an hour or so...Then its back..And rebooting the mib3 system does not help at all..And the fact that the menus in Apple Carplay freezes when you go into other functions is also annoying...Plus then the fact that on Columbus the most expensive navigation the function with "view in view" was removed which was great in mib 2..They also removed all possibility to add personal POI like speedcams and such..So to me MIB 3 seems to be the old version not so well tested, slow and rather bad...While mib 2 is the great one which is fast and have more functions..Isnt that crazy?? Only good new thing in mib 3 is the wireless Apple Carplay..well if it had worked well it would have been.. best regards Micael

All of the promotional pictures showed this having a flat bottomed steering wheel. This one doesn't have one, and no matter what trim level you build on their website (Audiusa), even the SQ5 Sportback, doesn't have the flat bottomed wheel.

I think Audi should have not rushed this coupe Q5, I am sure the outcome would me much more appealing with the new gen Q5; the free-standing infotainment screen looks so outdated...They have created a decent rear end design for the new body but the overall appearance is not as handsome as the Q3 coupe or the rivals X4 or GLC coupe...

At least the screens are 1080p and high resolution virtual cockpit which still looks modern. The climate control unit with buttons is also intuitive and nice to use

I don't know. It's an outdated platform, a small vehicle, and yet it costs almost as much as a GLE Coupe 350d when you spec it up a bit. I've always been an Audi fan boy, but this is a hard sell. On a plus side, they at least kept the knobs! :)
