Looks like I cheered way too soon, 😢 after following your instructions to the dot, yes all works perfectly until I turn ON the fog lights, yes they do light up, however for some reason my car reverts back to stored code "0" instead of the new code "1" and obviously this frustratingly again throws out the annoying "faulty fog light bulb" R&L message on the dashboard. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated. I'm using an older version VCDS 12.12 so wondering if that has got anything to do with it ?🤷

@@trupersonnel9293 when ever there is an update in vcds I always update it. I know you mentioned in the previous comment you followed step by step. But the only thing I can think is. Are you saving after you set the new parameter?

Awsome video. We have a supercharged 15' Audi Q7. Ive been meaning to do a full led conversion. I know for VCDS you have to pay, when I originally bought led fog lights it threw a code and I don't have vcds. I guess I will have to get it then but I'm going to get the same brand you have.

If you have multiple VW/Audi cars having vcds is a must

Can hou have both rear fog lights on the Q8. I have left hand drive but need RH fog lights to work in UK. Regulations.

@@christinepatterson1185 I have not changed out the rear fog lights on the Q7, they are still OEM. With that said I can still drive with the front dog and the rear fog lights on at the same time. I just have to have the light switch by the steering wheel in the correct position

You seem genius, I wanna do the exact same thing, PLUS DOING THE SAME WITH DRL'S mine is a q7 2008 S Line with bi Zenon HID , do the DRL'S are beside in same lens hosting the barely useless DRL'S.... I tried with vcds to code to accept DEL , and also get them to be ON on demand , like the fogs .....my tech says my car cannot get to " long coding " ? So all I get now is the European 🇪🇺 set up for fogs on demand even with high beam...can you help me ?

Not sure how the menu set is in a 2008, but with a 2013 the DRL's can be turned on or off using the menu settings for the car. No need be coded.
