Love that Audi started doing the inline 5 cyl again (they should never have stopped!). Prefer the old ones though from the 80s and 90s. I've got an Audi 90 which I love. Obviously the old ones don't have the crazy performance of modern cars, but that's okay with me - they look and sound awesome... and give me a manual ffs 😅

hey bro so i test drove this exact rs3 2022 model and i was abit suprised, could you please explain to me whats going on, so i trest drove and car feels very floaty and not planted, even in rs mode and all settings set to max it didnt stiffen up that much (it did ) but not as much as i thought it would? does anyone else notice this aswell or is it just me? maybe the car i drove was abit something wrong with it? i duno. really want to buy but the floaty feel is putting me off abit, pls if anyone can let me know that be great

The tyre pressure load chart in the door will tell you that for max load is meant to be 44psi front tyres and 36psi in the rears - that's fully laden though. I'm basically saying that I test drove several 8Ys before i purchased and had the same sentiment as you. Firstly you need good tyres will a high wall stiffness, I first have bridgestone potenza but wasn't impressed, so went back to Michelin PS4S. After I purchased the 8Y and to fix this sloppy feeling so that it responds like my old BMW M2. I drive with 42.5psi (normal road driving heat) in the fronts and 37psi in the backs. Now it drives like a go cart, not as good as the M2, but very close.

I ended up getting a rs5 , but later i will switch to 2024 rs3 after few years of using this rs5 because i prefer the look and smaller car. BTW the rs5 is also quite bouncy, but i was told that audi's rs' models are normally ALL like that. I might try this tire tip on this rs5 actually and will get back to you. ATM the currant tires are Pirelli's tho it still seems so bouncy over weird crests and humps (the rebound). Does not feel planted. May even have to do a suspension upgrade later. tho so expensive lol will see how it goes il grab some PS4S in a month or so. thanks brother!

@@loud_er The video sounds like a download valve, that car doesn't seem 100% stock, is it yours or was it just left?

We mix the sound combined from 3 microphones (engine - under the hood, inside the car, and one next to the exhaust) to give these videos full spectrum of sounds that each car makes. In this case BOV (blow off valve) is in fact a bit louder than when You sit in a car, or see it passing by, but since everyone likes loud BOVs We decided to leave it this way 😊

@@loud_er wow it's incredible, do you notice more oversteer with dynamic throttle than in performance mode? I have ordered an RS3 and I had a Focus RS MK3 before, I don't know if the RS3 will be as aggressive with oversteer without putting on drift mode.

no ECU tune available .. he's got an intake it seems, everything else behaves as stock ... I wonder if he switched to different tires as the stock Pirelli are horrid.
