Love the content and great comparison. Question for you, since you have a nice stable of VAG and BMW, if you had to choose one brand which would it be (forgetting about KZbin and content)? I've been back and forth between brands and currently have a 2022 RS5. I wanted the 8Y RS3 but stupid @audicanada decided to not bring it to market...8V prices here have skyrocketed as a result.

I couldnt hear the Audi at all, not a single pop or bang whilst the 8R constantly had playful sound going on, almost a notch too much if you daily it.

My favorite channel on KZbin and never disappoints. I think in the last 11 months of owning my MK8 R I only used DRIFT mode once. Maybe not enough power to have fun with the rear with stock power

Awesome to see you finally get a press car :) I was toying with an RS3 8Y but settled for the 8 R a few months ago and I think it is fantastic for the money, especially now they are unlocked. both very quick cars not really into the pops and bangs of the golf it's a bit boy racer but the five-cylinder Audi sounds better to me five cylinders always sound great .

Hi man, following you on KZbin since you had the S3 8V. I just bought mine this year and updated to stage 2 (not complete, missing the intercooler). I have a question if you can answer, I did a 100 to 200 kph and marked a 10.38 sec. In your opinion how many bhp does it have?? Never dyno the car

They put such a cheap looking/feeling steering wheel in the R, that was such a poor decision when it's supposed to be a high end VW. Mechanically, I think the new R is brilliant. Looks though....

@@Mac_F87 And this issue doesnt happen on the n55 on the m2 as BMW rectified the oil starvation issue by using the s55 oil pickup on the n55 m2 verson.

@@Khalid-gw4gw so driven hard on track/road it failed due to oil starvation from not having a baffled sump. Yes the M2 had baffled sump and duel oil pick up. The statement you made about they blow up all the time, sort of makes out the engines are inherently unreliable. Which is not the case. My wife has had an M135i for 3 years. She bought it with 40k miles it’s now in 70k miles. Running decat and software around 390hp, she’s done 30k miles and it’s not blown up.
