I have it on my car. It's awesome. I don't know I'd recommend people to play jokes on people and doing it on the fly while driving you Malakas :). USP has some awesome sales on them during the year. I got mine for $120 with discounts applied. Worth every penny.

Thanks for the support brother! Some decent Memorial Day sales going on right now as well. Just extended them for today.

Awesome install guys! That RS3 burnout is NASTY! Lol I installed my burnout box a few months ago on my A3 and it works great. Only issue I had was closing the plastic cover with the BOB installed. Aside from that really cool product 👍

Do you even need to warm up the front tires with awd ? how much diffrence does it make on the dragstrip.
@uspmotorsports4 жыл бұрын
As the car is FWD biased, this helps immensely as you cannot do a full burnout without it.
@mrAudisubaru4 жыл бұрын
@@uspmotorsports oh i see. so a front lsd would help as well.
@MalakaMotorSports4 жыл бұрын
As USP stated, being able to heat up the tires helps obtain an optimal ET. Really helps with drag radial or slicks
@DallasDub944 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the review. Definitely going on the mod list. I'm assuming on a MK7R (DSG) you'd follow the same process, engage e-brake, launch control, launch, warm tires and then let off the brake and roll forward as you let off the throttle. Probably have to be even more careful as the dq250 isn't nearly as robust as the dq500 lol.

If i had an rs3 that would be my first mode!

I found in my 7R that if I dont modulate the accelerator pedal and just keep it flat it bounces off the limiter. As for switching it back on after pressing the AWD button I have to restart the car to get rid of all the warning lights on the dash.

People are using them on stock RS3s as well and so far we don’t have any issues, couple people we know also use the burn out box with success. Again, if you ever want or need to remove it, it comes out in 1 minute.
@miaudir84 жыл бұрын
To switch between FWD and AWD do you need to be stopped or can it be while moving? The latter sounds risky. And if stopped, do you need to be in gear or can it be done while in neutral or park? As a side note, it would be cool to see 60-130 times with AWD and FWD to see the drivetrain loss and slower time with the AWD setting, maybe for another video?

Doesn't putting the handbrake on put in front wheel drive only, it does on the earlier haldex system, handbrake on esp off, front wheel burn out, works for me.

Nothing like stopping in the middle of the drag strip to get out of the car, take your helmet off, open the hood, open fuse box, pull fuse, put helmet back on, close fuse box, close hood, get back in the car, do burnout, get out of the car, take your helmet off, open the hood, open fuse box, put fuse back in, put helmet back on, close fuse box, close hood, get back in the car. Sounds peachy.
@alexstelmachowicz26454 жыл бұрын
Like that's not inconvenient 🤣. Let's buy a 65k car and stop and take out a fuse
