Audi RS5 ECS Tuning X-pipe

My 2013 Audi RS5, Phantom Black, titanium package, sport exhaust. It now has an ECS X-pipe installed by me, sound is incredible night and day difference. Volume is perfect mix of LOUD and don't wake the neighbors. Personally I want more so I am saving up for a full system.
The ECS X makes it a bit tinny and higher pitched, like exotic, the tinny is just the stock mufflers. Totally something you can live with for the incredible price. Build quality of the pipe was 10/10, instructions and difficulty wasn't great. You really need a lift to do this since the car is so low.

X-Pipe for the price it's a no brainer on the RS5. Someone needs to make a must have RS5 upgrades video... guess it will have to be me :)

Thanks! Zero drone on comfort mode. I absolutely love it and it was worth every penny, I have yet to hear a full exhaust in person on another RS5, but it makes you wonder what more you'd get if you did drop $2000+ on a system.

@@TheDragonDelasangre How bad is the drone in Dynamic? I almost always drive in sport / dynamic even just running around town so a little worried the drone could be bad and annoying? Still worth it?

@@quakerdaddy5237 Theres no drone with any Setup you can think off. Probably getting rid of the cats is the only way i can think it may drone. I partially started to get rid of all mufflers (first rear, then mid then front resonators. At no stage i had any drone in any drive mode with open valves. And i mean it. The engine just by design likes to stay in high revs so it will never reach the point where it drones thanks to the transmission.

I’m years late to this, and you may not even have the car anymore, but any chance you could do this video again with it in comfort mode? I’d like to do the x pipe, but need the car to be respectful at times.

You are correct I sold the car. Story for another day. The very first clip in this video where it says "Valves Closed" is the car is comfort/normal. In normal with the valves closed the car sounds stock and makes minimal to no extra exhaust noise, but as you can tell totally wakes the car up in dynamic. If you still want to see something my friend now has an RS5 and has the same X-pipe and maybe he will let me make a video.
