The cheapest ways to overcome blind spots when seeing to the rear of the car are... 1. For the rear view side mirrors on the doors, both to have a two-way mirror reflection configuration on rear side view mirrors: for example, on one rear view side mirror you have a standard ordinary mirror lens and a magnifying convex mirror lens at the end tip side by side. Two mirror lens on that one same rear view side mirror on the door. 2. For the rear view side mirrors on the doors to be coated with anti sunlight glare transparent coating.

I have this same packages in my Mythos Black 2023 RS5, minus the carbon fiber engine cover and the black leather pants in the passenger seat, grrr. I love the Carbon Package and I would have thought it would have been included with the engine cover for the price. I do have the panoramic roof, DRC and black optic package. I don’t have the Alcantera steering wheel, just on the door panels. I’m 6’ 4’ and fit well in the set. Interesting, I do have adaptive cruise control and traffic jam, it was in a package. Thank you for the review.

I was thinking of a RS4 for myself (40, no kids, single), as the RS4 has the right size as a car AND, apart from its sportiness, plenty of functionality. I don't need a House on wheels just for myself. Seeing now how much boot space the RS5 has, I think I have to consider the RS5 too now. Awesome car, I had an S5 and absolutely loved it. First Audi and flawless and faultless. After 2 years of driving I wanted to trade in for a more powerful car, like an RS5 - in England they are about 5k more than an M4 comp of same year - which is the only other car I was considering. I chose the M4 CP in the end, amazing seats and strong build quality, no soft limiter either so sounds like a real sports car. I love the hard drive but if both cars were in same price bracket I may have been persuaded by a good salesman! Regrets now, only in the winter, the quatro system is sensational! Audi ceo, make the rs5 a little less expensive, you may lure m4 fanboys over!

I love Audi design elements and how much they have progressed into a modern design era. However, I think they need more interior colour and trim options. The carbon fibre is overdone by this point, red on black is overdone as well.

Direct injected engines with high boost like the one in this RS5 have really crappy long term reliability. Lots of carbon fouling and buildup on valves, and as that crap deposits on the turbo impellers, they become less efficient and you also lose power with time. Engines like these are great out of the box, but they don't have the longevity of a naturally aspirated motor.

like your audi reviews but how you explain what DRC does is imo misleading Dynamic Ride Control Audi currently offers Dynamic Ride Control technology in the RS 5, among other models. DRC is a purely mechanical, and thus fully lag-free, system for reducing body roll and pitch around the transverse and longitudinal axes. The diagonally opposed pairs of shock absorbers are linked by hydraulic lines and a central valve. When cornering at speed, the valves regulate the oil flow in the shock absorber of the deflected outside front wheel almost immediately. They increase the support provided and reduce lateral tilt, thus improving the dynamics. As an option, Dynamic Ride Control can be supplemented by three-stage variable damping characteristics.
