Audi RS6 Avant review

The brute force of the Audi RS6 is thanks to the 5.0-liter V10. Aud has mounted two turbos and that resulted in a power increase to 580 hp. That's an extreme value per liter, and next to that we see 650 Nm of torque. So there is always power available. The block in the RS6 V10 is almost absurdly powerful. The sprint from 0-100 in 4.6 seconds, the RS6 from standstill to 200 and takes 14.9 seconds to complete.

Mijn ervaring is met (de onbegrenste versie) dat hij snel doortrekt tot 240, daarna ff moeite heeft tot 250 +/-ofzo maar zodra je hem doortrapt voel je dat hij bij 255 ofzo weer begint te trekken, Mijn max was 320 in Germania.

One of the best RS6 reviews i've seen. Thumbs up! Everyone keeps talking about "dream cars" like Ferraris or Astons, but those like RS6, M5 or E63 AMG are cars you want for real life. Use it for everyday shopping or take it on the race track, it will never disappoint. And if you want to you can easily outrun a Porsche or other "super cars" (at least on a straight piece of road) :)

@vateoivanov they also make an rs6 sedan, the sedan will offer a bit better performance cuz of lighter weight and better aerodnamics. Avant is just for convenience and to look god.

Nice review, big badass car.. but so is the price card. Video reminded me of some Russians that have two modified ones (Evotech, 750hp) 0-200: 12,6sec 0-100: 4.1sec So yeah, sick fast car which can be modified to be even faster than it is!

Audi RS6 is a great car, it does not fall in my personal "dream car" category but i really like it, just one thing: why do you need a 580hp station ? you need a family roomy car so that you can have the space to load stuff AND you need adequate power to overtske safely etc etc If the idea is to combine a sports car, station ςαγον and suv characteristics then you end up having a hybrid that it is a little bit of everything but never much of something, i do not know maybe i am wrong!...

Maar waarom is er nou nooit eens iemand die het daadwerkelijke verbruik van deze V10 aanstipt? "Ja, veel" ja, prima allemaal, maar ik wil dan weleens weten wat "veel " dan is. Is het 1:3 ? 1:5 ? 1:7 ? En dan heb ik het over normaal gebruik, met af en toe een keertje gas geven,maar gewoon normaal gebruik. Kan deze auto dan 1:6 bijvoorbeeld halen? Daar ben ik zeer benieuwd naar. Ik twijfel erg tussen deze en een C63 AMG station. Nu weet ik dat de C63 1:5 loopt, zeker. Met de 6.3 liter v8, maar ik hoor om mij heen dat deze RS6 zuiniger zou moeten zijn. Wie heeft hier, wellicht uit ervaring, wat cijfers?
