Do you think I need a bridge to take out my turbo? I want to replace it with a new one but I don't have a bridge and iam not sure if it's difficult to install because my local dealer ask minimum 1800 euro for putting a new turbo alone on My audi a3 2.0 tfsi ..

You can remove turbo yourself with basic tools. Raise front end up / disconnect catalytic converter and coolant / oil feel lines from the block (bottom end). Remove upper heat shield and hoses that are in your way. 12mm flex head socket for all the bolts on the manifold. Then it’s free from engine and you just need to fish it out from the top.

not to mention the time and headache of getting the turbo off in one piece
