Ken Tembe yes. Definitely...I’ve been waiting since April for my Q8 Vorsprung petrol. I’m informed I can drive it on 1st March 2020.

Ken Tembe my Q8 will be the 3 litre turbo petrol Vorsprung...with added extras such as front and rear dash cams, cobra track, black roof bars and black rings. It’s the Dragon Yellow finish. That’s why I have been waiting since April...the EU decided the petrol engines polluted too much and Audi has been tweaking them. An exotic oil burner (SQ8 and RSQ8) sound a wonderful proposition, but in UK many cities are allegedly going to ban Diesels and lets be honest, where is anyone going to be able to legally exercise an S or an RS? I shall be extremely content with my 0-60mph in 6 secs. HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Audi has kindly informed me today (30 Jan 2020) that my (Dragon Orange 3litre petrol Vorsprung with a load of other essential options built in) Q8 has landed in UK. Roll on 1st March!

Natural BB I agree, that’s a beautiful machine there, but it’s the wrong class. That’s more comparable to the Q5, whereas these would be compared to the x7, which is not as good looking. I do agree with the other guy though, I’ll take the RS6 over these any day.

Great comparison. I was in Audi the other day looking at both. When the salesman told me the price difference and that the cheaper of the 2 has potentially 7 seats and a bigger boot, with 2 kids it was a no brainer for me! SQ8 looks great, but cant warrant the extra money for less space.

Parcel shelf does go into the boot on the sq7. You put it in the recess to the left hand side then it just slides in.

Great comparison as to technology, details of vehicles and presentation. I have a 2 year old Q 7 and will get a 2020 instead of the Q 8. It would be good to do a comparison of the Premium, Premium plus and Prestige levels.

The seats flip up and forward to access the 3rd row in the Q7/SQ7. Makes it much easier to get in then climbing over.

Presentation is everything. Even when the food isn't that good, if its presented well that's what you remember. Think about specialty cakes, e.g. wedding/anniversary/etc. Not particularly that tasty, but they sure do look beautiful.

@@danielgerssen3451 Lol, I dont lust after any of those trash, this Q7 was the worst received design ever since this car came out both by general public and auto journalists alike and the reason I call it dull is bcuz of the proportion of the car...it looks like a big bloated jacked up fat wagon, the facelift is over styled and made the car look ever more fussy in design but didnt make it any less boring, with or without the facelift this car has absolutely no presence on the road ( unlike the X5, RR Sport, GLE, Xc90) looks like a big slab of car in your face....I am sure u are the one who has terrible taste buddy if u like this over styled moms weekend getaway lumbering minivan which is the worst looking suv in its segment!!
