Thank you soo much for posting this video. I had exactly the same issue on my 2005 roadster (8N7962267E) module. I purchased 2003 module of ebay from cupe (8N8962267E) and swapped the remote cards on the main circuit board. The remote central locking came back online like a charm. Cheer mate

Sehr informatives Video. Vielen Dank dafür! Ich habe mir letzte Woche auch einen Roadster gekauft, der das selbe Problem hat. Dummerweise sitzt das Steuergerät ja an einer Stelle, wo man eigentlich kaum dran kommt. Deswegen habe ich das Projekt auf ein paar wärmere Tage außerhalb der beheizten Garage zurückgestellt. hello. I replaced sirine alarm. i had 605 and i put 605A. It does not work again. Do you know if is there output from ccm to sirine alarm?

Very comprehensive video, thank you! I tried swapping the board from an 8n8 module, but it still would not lock/unlock the car. VCDS adaptation channel 21 never changes to 'learned' when pressing the key button, I think maybe my wiring loom plug has water damage too.
