Audi TT Mk1 (Roadster) Door card removal and window issues

Hi, wonder of anyone can help. I need a replacement Mk 1 TT Roadster window power motor - I notice the one for the coupe is exactly the same shape / design - but cheaper. Anyone know if I could just fit that?

@ - Quick question, mate - Weather is bad in the UK. As a temporary measure, is it easy to get my door off and push the window mechanism up to shut the window (if so, any ideas an securing the mechanism in a shut position?).

@@beejj6190 you could put a jubilee clip or similar so it grabs the wire that pulls the window up/ down and secure it to the metal of the door somehow???
