Still my favorite interior of any modern car. Using the vents to integrate physical dials for climate control is just so inspired. A usability and design dream that should be replicated more.

Lol my dad had one back in 2001, the 225hp with the dual tailpipes (he always had to point this out) He would hate it when women would come up to him at Gas stations and tell him how cute it was 😂😂😂 It’s amazing how much attention that thing would get. I was only 11 at the time but vividly remember people constantly coming up and chatting to him about it.

The Audi TT is the car that got me into cars. I used to play a game called midtown madness and there was a mod that made the TT comically fast compared to everything else in the game. Since then, I fell in love with cars. Thank you Audi, for the TT and for getting me into the best hobby in the world.

Small thing, the TT does have lane keeping assist. You activate it with a small button on the end of the indicator stalk.

The TTRS just isn't special enough... has a compromised AWD system, and basically just a body kit for the final edition. The beauty in these cars was there relatively easy accessibility and takes mods and power very well. I mean, the final edition doesn't even make more power....

I own a 2018. As a 2 seat daily driver, it can't be beat. Great acceleration, more than enough handling for the road, comfy, tons of cargo room with the back seats down. And yes, that dash design is brilliant! I hate those tacked on screens!

I have the standard TT S-Line Quattro and it's perfect for me. Will beat most things off the line, if you're into that, a great daily, still gets people wanting to look at it, and the interior - despite being 8 years old now - still looks as good and functional as brand new cars.

Hi matt , all audi vw group cars with the “normal” gear selector in the middle can bypass the soft limiter by holding the gear selector in between gears where the gear indicator in the instrument cluster doesnt show a gear selected the car will rev to redline. You’re welcome everyone

11:21 - What also helps a ton is thicker tires; hear me out. You can get wider wheels that are 19” which will not only offer more traction (both because of the ticker walls but also because they’re wider) but will provide a bit more comfort. Did that to my car, got 265mm wide tires with a thicker side wall and it rides much smoother, less prone to damaging the wheel on potholes and great traction.

Brakes: I will say you can get a big brake kit for the rear and better discs for both front/rear. 034 has a great kit for the TT RS which I’ve had on mine for years and it’s an _enormous_ improvement over stock (esp with the right pads) and only 80%-90% as good as the carbon ceramics, which is saying a lot (considering CCBs are crazy expensive, and I’ve driven the car with stock CCBs). CCBs on the TT RS sadly have heat dissipation issues and because of their cost, are actually less ideal for racing since any chips or problems mean big money to replace.

I've got a 2018 TTRS with a stage 1 Tune which gives it peak torque at 2800rpm and nearly eliminates that turbo gap, especially in 1st gear when it's building boost. Been my favorite Audi since it came out and a shame to see it and the R8 go :(
