For me, it was a bad intake camshaft vvt gear. I replaced It with another intake cam. While you're in there, change the oil cooler gasket. If it fails, you will get coolant mixed with oil destroying your new cam. Don't ask me how I know 😅

@@MrSamoannn Check the variable valve timing Solenoid. If the little magnetic part is sticking replace it. It should fall in and out with ease

@@MrSamoannn WoW, how much was 4 coils? I did my daughters spark plugs but not coils. It was a booger getting those boots out. The problem was the vvt solenoid but I went ahead and did plugs just bc they were probably original by the looks of them. Glad you got it fixed

Hello, i have a Audi S8 from 2015. We did a valve cover gasket put everything back. Now it makes a metallic noise, I got check engine light 4000 rpm warning light on. Can high fuel pressure cause this noise and these lights ? Or maybe cam follower ?? It’s driving me crazy

My Leon FR is doing the exact same thing CCZB engine code, only does it when low RPM and when oil it at correct temperature, also makes a rattle sound when you come off the throttle.

@@benXtrans turned out to be chain tensioner I left it a couple miles too long and car started misfiring and timing is now out so I suspect it’s slipped a tooth or 2, I still have the car not drove it since I posted this comment or a day or so more lol

I have a Audi q 5 it does this the Epc light comes on and then sometimes has a little problem starting it just keeps trying to start off on I have to press in the accelerator and it starts or just starts normal when it does not start normally it will idle little hard but once I get going it’s smooth the Epc light comes on between 48 mph and lower 😢 and does a small jerk .. this video came up while I was driving and think my car connected to my phone to tell me what was wrong lol

Before you buy one this kind a engine, make sure to check and look at the server schedule, ask for what been done and worked on. Check the time chain noise see if its been replace or not, check under the engine for oil leaks or coolant leaks. Good luck To check the timing chain remove the plastic black cover on top of the timing chain for inspection .

I have this exact problem at times. My car can just cut off power. But once I start her up again. She drives just fine. Check Cam bridge make sure the oil screen not blown off or Plugged. Cam actuator Solenoid been replace? This might be your problem

No. Just use a intake cleaner spray and a clean towel, best result try seafoam cleaner ( it cleans the throttle, intake and the valves)
