He was joking and the media quoted it as a serious headline for sensationalism. In the same interviews he does mention he bathes. 😭

Areo Hotah Well I like cats but they do tend to not be as friendly as dogs. My mom never liked cats because she likes birds too much and hated it when they brought dead ones in.

I have 2 major things that annoy me. first is the one who always feels really hot on a cold winters day and takes it upon them self to open the bus or train window(s) letting out the warmth and freezing the vehicle. And secondly those keep dangerous dogs and walk them down the road with themselves being tugged along as well as letting them loose in the park and not having the dog wear a face mask.

saqib shakil I would say more likely a dog that doesn't listen or is just generally untrained. If you can't manage your dog even the most even-tempered dog can react badly, especially when others aren't paying attention.

Sandy G 323 fair enough. But look today I was walking past a garden and two of those bull terrier/ rock wieler dogs ran right up to the fence and starting Barking really loudly. It made me jump and feel really scared. I had to cross to the other side of the road

saqib shakil I think that's perfectly normal, a loud barking dog (or two) being territorial of their yard would make me nervous too. Personally I probably wouldn't have crossed the street but I don't think it was a dumb move because you were paying attention and assessed the situation accordingly. I was thinking more along the lines of say, one of those dogs getting out and biting you. A well-trained dog might bark but as long as you stay out of their territory it shouldn't bite unless provoked (walking by is not enough) and a good owner would keep their yard secure so pets can't break out. I think some of your fear is smart, dogs can hurt you so you should be cautious but know that most dogs won't. To me it's like looking both ways before crossing the street, cars can hurt too but most likely you won't get run over. I guess I don't get annoyed because I like dogs and understand what behavior is normal for a dog. I'm more apt to get annoyed at a dog owner before the dog, they're the ones who allow the bad manners.

A few years ago on Top Gear, the team looked at a Mexican sportd car called the Mastretta, which they didn't really like. Jeremy did make a joke about the Mexican ambassador, James May said something about Mexican food, but Richard Hammond went full on the offensive (footage on KZbin, I'm sure). Subsequently, a few years after that, Richard Hammond went to Mexico to try out that very car as punishment for losing a Top Gear challenge.
