Hi, am Shankar Vaitheeswaran a.k.a Shankar .
I was driven by my passion to the world of music and there by to the realm of Sound Engineering & Music Production for the last 10 Years.
I successfully completed Sound Engineering in 2010. Thereafter I started working as a freelance Sound Engineer & Music Programmer. I also started doing Tech Support & Music Production Training to many professionals . During this period I got opportunity to associate with many musicians and Recording Studios.
Along with the aforesaid engagements , I was developing in house facilities to become an independent Sound Engineer & Music Producer. It culminated in my opening my own Recording & Music Production Studio - Musiqaa Factree in Trivandrum.
I have been running a unique program in Electronic Music Producton , an ecology where one student learns exclusively in dedicated studio environment with all modern Recording and production gears.

Hi, Which version of ID 14 are you using? Gen 1 or MK2. You can adjust the buffer size within the DAW software in its settings. Please mention the details.

Thanks for watching and commenting. If you are going with Audient, the ID14 MK2 is better than the first Gen ID14. The new mk2 version comes with 3 year warranty. Also lots of improvements in performance , drivers and stability. If you are looking for budget audio interface with good pre amps and 3 year warranty, go check Behringer UMC 204HD.

Separate Phantom Power Switch ഇല്ലാത്ത Audio Interface ല്‍ (eg: Behringer UMC404HD) Condenser Microphone ഉം Dynamic Microphone ഉം ഒരുമിച്ച് ഉപയോഗിച്ചാല്‍ Dynamic Microphone നു Damage ഉണ്ടാകുമോ ?

All modern Dynamic Mics with XLR outputs cannot be damaged by the phantom power. Sometimes a loud pop may heard when connecting to phantom powered sources. Some dynamic mics have a small audio transformer inside the mic to make its output to "balanced singnal". I had seen such mics on Live Sound. According to the Transformer Law, it only passes AC Current. So the sound signals are AC and the +48V Phantom power is DC , then blocked by the transformer. I personally won't mix condenser and dynamic mics on normal interfaces. Fortunately we are using high end interfaces with separate phantom power for each of the preamps.

This is the ID14 first version. At that time there was no SSL 2+. Then the ID14 MK2 came and it is comparable with SSL 2+. In terms of AD DA converters, the ID14 MK2 is better. Audient provides clear specs about the converters of their Audio Interfaces , which most of the manufacturers don't even divulge on their spec sheets/ websites.
