Ah, so this is where you've wound up eh? Nice to see you back, Adam! Can you sell the id14 to a quizzical Welsh fella? How does it fare with a loadboax/amp setup?

Hi, does the loop back work in Ableton Live 11? If so, how can I do it? I already see it/ have it on Cubasis but not on Ableton. Thank you !
@Audientworld Жыл бұрын
Yes it'll work the same way on Ableton, you just have to select your input channel as the Loop-back channel (typically the last two channels) on your interface. You can then use the mixer software to setup what is feeding these loop-back inputs. Check our channel for more vides on how to set this up or contact support@audient.com

What else should be tweaked if I'd like to get an external synth recorded through an Audient? I can hear sounds through the Audient's headphones output, but Ableton doesn't receive the sound.

Double-check your input routing in Ableton to ensure you're using the channel that the synth is plugged into. If you are on macOS, go to your Privacy setting in System Preferences to ensure that Ableon has access to the Microphone as this can block the incoming signal from reaching Ableton.

@@Audientworld Thanks! Granting the Mic access did it.

I don't have CoreAudio I just have ASIO and then in ASIO I can select Audient USB Audio ASIO Driver - is this ok or do I need to be able to see Core Audio in my Driver Type?
@Audientworld7 ай бұрын
Core Audio is only available on macOS. If you are on Windows then you'd want to use ASIO for the best results!

terrible input gain with an SM58. What am I doing wrong?
@Audientworld8 ай бұрын
It really depends on your sound source and how close the mic is to the Sound source. If you are recording a quiet source, such as spoken word then try to get the mic as close as you can without getting too much proximity effect. If you still need more level then you can use an external boost such as a cloudlifter.

I'm getting clicks and pops when using Audient id14mkii drivers with Ableton Live 11/Win11. Everything is setup the way it should be, and I don't get clicks an pops when using the id14's drivers in Bitwig and Cubase, it is specifically a Live 11 issue.

Thats a little strange, have you got the latest update for Live installed? Drop us a message at support@audient.com and we can help you troubleshoot this!

@@Audientworld latest drivers are installed yes, system is all up to date. I'm currently having to resort to using asio4all whilst working in Live 11 which isn't great but it's a solution for now.
