Logic Pro 101 - Getting Started with Audient iD

Congratulations on the purchase of your Audient iD interface! Whether you got an iD4, an iD14, an iD24 or an iD44, this guide will help you to get started using Logic Pro.
The first things you will need to do are connecting the interface, installing the drivers - and then setting up Logic Pro in the best way to suit your needs. In this way, we talk through plugging in a microphone to verify that Logic Pro has a working input - then set up Logic Pro accordingly.
Next we set up monitoring - either through Logic Pro or through the iD low latency monitoring system - making sure that we don’t hear the same signal twice, which causes unwanted audio artefacts.

What's the best way to prevent clipping in the iD14? With my old audio interface it was very simple: If the red clipping LED lightens up, there's too much guitar signal. This way, there was no need checking input meters in Logic. Now I am having trouble interpreting the iD software mixer. If I reduce gain to the point where there ist no red lines, the signal arriving Logic is rather thin, approximately half of the amount coming from the old audio interface.

In the iD mixer software, you just need to ensure that the red clip indicator at the top of the meter is not illuminated. As long as the signal is below that then you're not clipping

Hey i got a question i got the Audient ID4 Mkii and a mini mac 2 with a usb c cabel i did everything just like u step for step but i cant hear my self Not even when I watch KZbin videos or go to Logic and set everything up there. I've done everything and tried it. It just doesn't work. Everything plugged in. I tried every button. Could you give me a tip idk what to do 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have a ID4, input 1 is working fine. However, When I connect my guitar and select input 2 I don't get any signal on my logic pro or garage band. What may be something I'm missing out? I get signals and out out if I turn on any guitar interface, However, the problem is on only the recording tools. Please Suggest. @audient

Hello, Just to check input 2 is working, if you turn the Monitor Mix control all the way to INPUT, do you see movement on the iD4's meters when you play guitar?

Yes input 2 works perfect, I'm able to get out put through the plugins connected through ID4 to MacBook. But, there is no signal captured in the Logic Pro and garage band @@Audientworld
