What I love most is how close they are to us on Facebook. They actually listen and take the time to answer. Once, I suggested they put room and back mics in their IRs and they actually did it. They're just that awesome.

Thanks for taking a look at this suite and showing us how you dial it in. I enjoy it very much and I have been an Audio Assault fan for many years. Their amp sims are so affordable and offer a lot of value, especially for guys like me who have limited space and cannot make use of real tube amps and cabinets. You made that Marshall amp sim sing for sure and that was really cool to hear. I love their original amp called "Bulldozer" the most and it can sound amazing with some of the IRs I own. Excellent overview.

I was just trying this amp suite out the other day and thought it was so underrated. Plus, AudioAssault has some really great IRs too with some speaker choices that are pretty out of the norm. I love when companies do the more uncommon speakers in a 412. If I had the gear, I'd do a IR pack of my Jensen Mod 12-35s that fill my Mesa Trad 4x12. They are awesome for hard rock tones and they're super duper lightweight (just under 3lbs a speaker)

Try double boosting the Prestige amp, and cranking the gain. It very easily gets closer to high gain territory. ReAmp 2 comes with simplified chainsaw pedals that are basically the MT-2 or HM-2 paired down to 3 knobs, and they give some grit character even with the gain at 0. Use an overdrive as usual, and then follow it with one of those metal pedals as a 2nd boost, then layer it as a double track recorded with another amp. Fully in the box Clayman tones, or early 90's Cannibal Corpse tones if you use a Rectifier type sim paired with some sort of vintage fender and a Metal Zone in front. IIRC you can use a bass amp as a pedal platform, too. Now it can load NAM profiles in the amp slot, so you can capture or download NAM profiles of power amps, basically the FX return with the speaker out through an attenuator, and that is a USD$5 upgrade.

Hallo Euge. Great playing and a absolut Historical Ampsound. I m proud to have the original Plexi Amp, build in 1966-68. 1968 Marshall chanced the Plastic Frontpanel (so the came name Plexi) to metal. But i am little bit sad. Because the Amp is too loud to played at home. Great video, presantation. Thank's

They sound "produced" rather than like a raw amp, but seem to always sound good. They have something similar to Guitar Rig in that they sound like a layer of production is baked into the sim.
@MojoDudeX11 ай бұрын
The point of an ampsim is to sound like a recording, not the actual experience, meant to be a tool for production, not the gutshaking thng a stack gives you.

Hey man does anyone know how to access new cabs you buy from Audio assault . I was able to download them but not access them in the plugin . No directions . I was able to access a new amp o bought but not new cabs or ir’s….if anyone knows and can help that would be great as audio assault hasn’t returned my email
@JonRayRunawayVealMusic8 ай бұрын
…. Wherever you place them on your computer I think you navigate to the cabs via the plugin ….it doesn’t seem to be as easy as I thought as far as a structured plugin . I’m not sure why it’s like that ….hard to get proper directions and file structure when purchasing new cabs …..I think all cabs are supposed to go into amp locker data folder ….but the data (cabs) we purchase seem to have a confusing structure that makes the files hard to place in the amp locker data folder and then hard to navigate to like the other cabs and presets ?
