Read along, listen and meditate as we read the weekly Torah Portion with Tommy. Live Every Wednesday: 7pm UK • 2pm ET • 11am PT Chapters 00:00 - 00:20 - Intro 00:21 - 03:25 - Deuteronomy 7:12-26 03:30 - 06:52 - Deuteronomy 8 06:58 - 12:46 - Deuteronomy 9 12:52 - 16:32 - Deuteronomy 10 16:38 - 20:51 - Deuteronomy 11:1-25 20:53 - 21:13 - Outro Bible Version: New King James The Torah Portion In A Nutshell Moses continues his final speech to Israel, reminding them that their prosperity in the land is subject to them keeping Yah’s commandments, the mitzvot of the Torah. Moses once again reminds the Children of Israel of the sins of their predecessor: the golden calf, Korach’s rebellion and the multiple times they had angered God. Following this with the recalling of the manna, the bread from heaven which fed the children of Israel as they wandered through the wilderness, Moses tells this generation that it had been a lesson for Israel, that they were sustained not by “bread alone” but by the Word of God (as quoted by Yeshua later in Scripture). Moses tells them of the bounty of the land, the ‘seven kinds’ of produce that is abundant there, reinforcing the need for the artefacts of pagan idolatry to be torn down and destroyed. He warns them against self-righteousness, telling them that they are blessed with the victory over the land because of the wickedness of the nations currently occupying it and not because of their own righteousness. However, regardless of their own state of righteousness, if the people would keep and love all the commands of God, their time in the land will be blessed with fruitfulness, wealth and victories in battle as God Himself cares for that land. ******* *More Information* Want to learn more? Thank you so much for this reading. I have only found your channel a few weeks ago. It came up in my recommendations. My husband is dyslexic and this is such a blessing for him.

I have a request... these are such a blessing. Once Tommie finishes the whole Torah cycle, would you consider making one video with all Genesis Torah portions, one with all Exodus, etc. I would love to fall asleep to this every night and I am confident I am not alone.
