Thank you so much! The question I have is about making no carved image in the shape of animals. My Mother in law left us numerous ceramic trinket like objects things like Beatrix Potter figurines and so on. Are these carved images that we aren't allowed to display? I'm trying to figure out the meaning of that commandment I don't want to be in disobedience by displaying these items. Thank you 🙏

I have the same question. For a long time I have wondered if decorations......well I just don't know. I asked my Torah teacher on Saturday twice and he said no that it was fine. This seems pretty clear. I haven't made any carved images but I have bought pictures and knick knacks. Faux flowers. But I certainly don't worship them. I barely dust them! If we aren't to have images in our houses then I need to know so I can do away with them.
