Thank you... this was useful, as I was running into some issues recently with certain plugins and processes. I had my buffer size way down and Ableton was @ 44100, while my internal sound card was set to 48000 @ 24 bits and I found another odd digital setting that was set to 48000 @ 16 bits.?. Much appreciated!

When I record a software instrument then change to another track and record with a different software instrument, when I play back, all the clips are with the new instrument sound. What am I doing wrong? I want the the other instruments to retain their original sounds.
