It’s really helpful to read this book with Oprah’s voiceover! I wondered how many people have not seen it yet! Please don’t miss this audiobook. It’s wonderful.
Oprah voice makes me comfortable and cozy. She encourages us to improve our life and gives an energy. She gives me motivation to work hard, too.

I recall a girl giddy saying to me in excitement that she loved me and wanted to be like me, a background singer... to which I replied I'm not a background singer. She went stone cold turned and walked away never to even so much as look at me ever again. It was new to me to respond to someone with my head held high and speak my own truth. I felt bad for a while over that incident. But now don't care. I cannot worry about what people think of me (I too grew up wanting to be liked by everyone, I wasn't), hearing it here again only strengthens that feeling. Thank you Lady O.

Thank you Oprah for sharing this amazing book with the world. I too am from Mississippi so I have always felt a connection to you. This book is life changing. It validated my feelings toward my self and many of the subjects you spoke about from the beginning chapter to the end. This is one I will read over and over and hearing you read it …made it even more special. Thank you for the difference you have made and are continuing to make in the world, and for the great example of how we should live our lives. Much love 💕

Yeah, I used to admire Oprah, until the Harry and Meghan interview that is. Not interested in we hat she has to say anymore. Her credibility is shattered, and I no longer trust that what “knows for sure” is authentic, or just another Oscar nomination role, after all she is a better actress than she is a journalist obviously.

Elvia, I hear what you are saying. Remember that we are not to make anyone take the place of God our creator who is the only one we can fully trust so just see the good in her and overlook where you don't agree with her.

What I know I have self doubt moments about myself and this help me find my self confidence. Ophrah not a God but when I heard "What I Know For Sure" help me to see who I always knew I was.

What Happened to You is amazing. I enjoy the material Oprah covers, always have. While reading What happened to You, written by Oprah Winfrey and Bruce Perry, I realized that I'm the teacher from St A's on page 38, who worked with the young black boys in the class. I went through Bruce Perry's training at St A. I have used this understanding for over 14 years in the classroom. I even did a talk on it a few years back for Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHmlXoulhc98jLM
