Yes she sees and describes simple, pure aspects of life in the most tender, insightful, utterly beautiful ways. God bless Lucy Maud Montgonery and thank you for sharing that thought angelicaperez.

The first few chapters, when Anne talks about herself, I always want to cry. She was so hungry for love. This is one of my favourite book series. Too bad Netflix touched it and made it ugly.

But all in all no one can diminish the beauty of Anne of Green Gables or the beauty she sees All around her. "If I was just the one Anne..." I too feel like more than one person sometimes. Even detecting days and nights when there is a changing Of the Guard once in a while.

Thank goodness for the original in audio book form. Some of those beautiful Lucy Maude Montgomery lines of writing could never be made ugly by anyone. Thanks for sharing Sushinmotion.

I watch/listen to a lot of the youtube programing. I see somethings, that just get put up, with no one getting a chance to even view them, and they already have dislikes. It is mystifying.

I never laugh out loud, hardly ever anyway; even at funny jokes or comic movies- but I must've laughed at least nine times already half way thru this wonderful reading. Thank you for all your hard work and efforts and excellent narration and presentation. Thank you . Mario SIrSirReal Villarreal. "At my time of life an amusing person..."

After watching the Netflix series, Anne With An E, I was shocked with the demise of a major character. No spoiler alert necessary. How tragical, and I was absolutely in the depths of despair!!

"Tragical..." Such a beautiful word. Sounds olde English. Thanks for your input and feedback. Mario SIrSirReal Villarreal.

This is so well read. The accent is perfectly appropriate for this story. Everything about is really good , each character is totaly believable. I tried two or three renditions before settling on this one. I wonder if the narrator has read Little Women and the other books of Louisa M. Alcott ? Kaytey

Re: the accent. I would point out - simply as a point of interest - that the accent is not what would have been those of the "Anne" characters; i.e., the accents of Victorian/Edwardian PEI Anglo-Scots.

I love this story, but couldn't get over the fact that the reader mispronounced "Marilla" 5,000 times. I wonder why the director didn't correct her when she pronounced it "Murolla". That ruined it for me. Otherwise, it would have been lovely. Well, that and slowing down a bit.

But some people especially kids talk fast nowadays so it adds a realistic quality.
