My advice to reading his book: read the chapters until they get off to sea. Then read the chapter when Ahab appears, nails a gold piece to a mast, rallying the crew. Jump to a couple chapters in the 60's: Stub kills a whale. And eats the tail part while talking to the cook. And the sharks eating the whale. Jump to the 90s: Ambergris and the Pequod meets the Rosebud. You are own your own from there. Just think if Ahab and his crew killed Moby Dick, they would have came home heroes for life.

Karen Savage is my absolute favorite. I couldn't find a recording of her reading the previous book in the series. I'm so glad she's back on this one. Love, love, love this series!

I believe this is because LMM was forced to write that book by her publisher. It isn't near as good, not the same joy in the writing, her heart was not in the story. Just a guess, but that's my thinking.

Sir Nigel, The White company and the brigadier Gerard stories show that Conan Doyle was so much more than just Sherlock Holmes. Wonderful and thank you so much for this excellent reading.

This book is fun and the last line is hilarious. I'm more for children's disobedience over parental tyranny.
