Heck I think I read UAD normally charges $199 for it ! It definitely ain’t no $39 bucks. lol. But for free , eh. I’ll get it. lol

I learned you have to use the pad with the mic activated or it sound like that. But used the preset you will see how they use the pad with mic and it sound normal but without it get distorted

I’ve owned mine since getting my Apollo, I said the same thing, it’s not bad but it does get crunchy fast. I do like it on bass and drums tho but not something I must have on an insert.

I agree with you. UAD could do better. Although free, still not interested.
