Adrian, what do you think about Pass Labs sound? I would love to enjoy one day a video where you compare McIntosh vs Pass Labs and maybe also Accuphase and Gryphon, all together. Any plans to become a Pass Labs dealer?

Congratulations on another great year of fascinating HiFi content! Great show as always. I have the McIntosh MA12000 which I love but now I'm thinking about that beautiful Accuphase e-800s class A integrated. Keep the Mc or trade it up for the Accuphase? What do I do?

The Accuphase IMO is a much better amplifier. Better resolution, staging (depth and height), while keeping the warmth. Just a beautiful sound. Nothing wrong with Mc just Accu a step up.

In the year since the Maria discussions here I've not seen another review of the Maria besides Huff's and he loved it too. So why no other reviews? Cost I suppose because if the maker isn't sending them out for review it doesn't happen. Or in this case a dealer. The big thing is that the Maria is a black box that is applying DSP to all inputs including analog from what I can gather. Let that sink in. That's what's making KZbin sound good. This is simply heresy. If people got up in arms about MQA just wait until they get into this. Which may be several years down the line I guess. Can you even buy one today or do you have to wait 9 months or something?
