Great videos my friend. I auditioned the 8000f and loved em. I ended buying the 6000f series instead and just as overwhelmed with sound over my old 24 year old Mission M74i's. The size of the room and placement of the 8000 series was a little large. Driving these new speakers with an Onkyo tx 7100 reciever. Makes me smile huge for an old 67 year old guy. Ya they aint Focals or Paradigm Premier series. My wallet isnt bottomless now im retired. Keep the videos a coming TC Dave from Canada

@@JR-ho5qm I did get them. They are one hell of a speaker. Coming from a soft dome the aluminum tweeter took a bit to get used to. They play loud with little power and have good dynamics even at low volumes. You need the right room because they are huge and need some space!

Paradigm is really hard to beat at each level. I’ve owned Monitor 11’s and currently the Paradigm Reference floor standers. They have outstanding sound quality and massive power with my Marantz receiver. Detail is amazing.

I purchased the model right below the 8000, the 6000 to replace my NHT Super Two's. You're right in that the cabinet is nothing special but they sound great and the efficiency is a huge deal. The ELAC Debut towers recommend 100 watts a channel to effectively drive them. No need for that much power on these. I own a Rotel A14 MKII rated at 80 watts and the sound is phenomenal.

Grilles used to be necessary on so many speakers. I almost always preferred older designs with them on. Not so odd was/is how many complaints we hear/heard about bright speakers was when seeing the drivers became more in style. Now that I have more choices in levels of audio quality, I am still hooked by good 3-way designs. Especially with music that has more coherent and melodic basslines.

Just got these a couple of days ago and they blew my mind how good they sound. These had the perfect amount of bass even for home theater use without a subwoofer. they replaced the Def Tech bp9040's. for the center though i went with the Paradigm Premier 600c which sounds almost the sameas the monitor towers just a tiny bit less bass.

Appears from the video you used WBT terminations, with I presume Kimber? I use WBT with 8TC on my 100F Founders. Your review of the Founders is what got me to pull the trigger.

I just purchased these on sale for my home gym located in my basement. I really want a party speaker,so this just may work well in my case . I have 4 paradigm studio 100 V5’s in my living room and their CC690 centre . They have been pleasing me for years , but I don’t have a lot of money for the gyms stereo, so these were probably my best option

Looks like he measures a half inch where the driver is actually mounted, and it's recessed. Is the other 1/8 or 1/4 inch not included in the construction specifications?

Rocking some paradigm monitor 9 series 7s for fronts center 3 and some atoms for the rears and a monitor sub 8 all being powered by a anthem 540 talk about a system that punch's about it's price point when at the time a worked full time when I bought the speakers. At the time I dreamed of some Paradigm prestige in midnight cherry but the monitors were more my price range.

Hi Gene, thanks for the review. Im thinking of replacing my now 20 year old Acoustic Research performance series setup with some Paradigms. its in a 7.4.4 setup with paradigm in ceilings for my Atmos and rear surrounds. almost 100% home theater use. Would you recommend these or is it worth the couple thousand more to step up to the Premier 800f,600/500c? Thanks!

I might have to abandon this channel. From what I've read, Paradigm doesn't begin to match the sound quality it used to have. Twenty years ago I compared the Monitors with the Studio 20s using well mastered classical music CDs. There was no comparison. The floor standing Monitors sent out unrefined music with poor imaging. The stand mounted Monitors imaged a bit better, but only a bit. Stereophile periodically measures Paradigm's high end. It's clear from these reviews that Paradigm design is optimized for movies, not for serious listening to classical music.
